Jeb have released the 8'th snapshot for Minecraft.
New things,Bugfixes,Changes:
Added Iron Golems which defend the Villagers.
Added up-side-down Stairs
Many changes to the world and lighting system
Fixed caves generations
The End now generates
Bugs:
Birches and pines spawn only very rarely(A rare example can be found in the seed "12w08a" at x and z coordinates 300).
Spawning Zombies that are spawned on Half-Step blocks don't burn in the day light until they step on a block
Camera controls aren't bindable and trigger when you have one of your keybinds set on theirs.
Blacksmiths in Villages is much more rare now.
When you place a portal about cloud level and then go in and then back you will find yourself at a different place at 64'th y level.

Redstone torches and torches can now be placed on Glass and Glowstone
